Great season of Snow 2008 - 2009

Its official the Bareges - La Mongie ski resort, we where one of the best places to ski in Europe in 2008 - 2009. With the pisted base hovering around 2.7m at 1400m and 3.4m at 2500m during the best period in January.
The resort closed yesterday still with 1.8m at 1400m and 2.1m at 2500m we could have still been skiing until May easily. Ski touring is still good with more snow forecast 10 - 20 cms over the next 6 days should see the ski tourers out in force.
